San Diego Repertory Theatre (Ruby Reunion) 40th Celebration & Sam Woodhouse's Talent
I was fortunate enough to join the San Diego Repertory Theatre (Ruby Reunion) 40th Celebration with friend and supporter of the arts, Jason Whooper. He exudes passion for helping others and is a part of the City of San Diego Commission for the Arts and Culture.

"More than 250 supporters, advocates, friends and donors of San Diego Repertory Theatre celebrated its 40th anniversary and Artistic Director Sam Woodhouse’s four creative decades at the REP Ruby Reunion on Sunday, June 12, raising over $100,000 for programming and operations.
Co-chaired by Honorary Chairs Joan and Irwin Jacobs, Ruby Reunion Chairs Dea and Osborn Hurston and Event Committee Co-Chairs Sachiko Kohatsu and Marilyn Haring, among the community leaders in attendance were Dede and Mike Alpert, Danah Fayman, Suzanne Hess, Leonard Hirsh and Barbara Hoffer, Jeffrey and Shelia Lipinsky, Darlene Gould Davies and Paul Marshall, Julie and Tom Karlo, Joani Nelson, Pam Slater-Price and Hershell Price, Jay and Julie Sarno, Rhonda and Scott Schmidt, Gia and Steven Stuckey, Molli Wagner, Svetlana and Matthew Weil, Kit and John Wells, and Chris and Pat Weil.
During the past 40 seasons, San Diego REP has earned more than 200 awards for artistic excellence, produced 286 productions, 49 world premieres, 51 main stage productions by Latino playwrights and 23 plays written by or about African Americans.
